Terms & Conditions Agreement for Training at the Breath and Consciousness Academy

1. The Study Agreement

The study agreement is made between the participant and the Breath and Consciousness

Academy of "Paradijs op Aarde," which provides the training. The agreement is established

when:

 "Paradise on Earth" or The Breathing Room accepts the registration; or

 The participant registers and receives a confirmation email.

The agreement is valid for the entire duration of the training. This includes the Basic course

(Modules 1 and 2), the Training to become a Breath Coach (Modules 3, 4, and 5), and the

Master Training to become a Breath Trainer (Modules 6, 7, and 8). The participant is

expected to attend at least 90% of the training days.

2. Registration

By registering and accepting the terms, a study agreement is established. The participant

agrees to the conditions stated in the training information and confirmation email. The

services and support provided under the agreement are personal and non-transferable.

3. Admission Requirements

Admission is determined after a consultation regarding the participant’s prior education,

knowledge, and experience.

For Module 1& 2: The participant has attended several breathwork sessions or is willing to

do so before starting the training. Or has been accepted by The Breathing Room to attend

without previous experience (In Ireland)

 For Modules 3, 4, and 5 (Training): The participant has successfully completed

Modules 1 and 2.

 For Modules 6, 7, and 8 (Master Training): The participant holds a Breath Coach

diploma or is about to obtain it.

Additionally, the participant is expected to:

 Function well in a group, study independently, and be mentally and emotionally

stable.

 Have resolved major personal issues from the past so they do not interfere with

coaching others.

 Be motivated and show an interest in breathwork, both personally and professionally.

 Possess social awareness, meaning they invest in others and are open to experiences

and perspectives of those around them.

 Be open to feedback from trainers and fellow students.

 Have at least an MBO (secondary vocational education) level of thinking and working

and possess good interpersonal skills.

 Be able to empathize with others, empower the client, and maintain personal

boundaries without getting involved in the client's drama.

4. Payment and Arrears

The current tuition fees are listed on the website and remain unchanged during the course of

study. If a payment deadline is exceeded, the participant is in default. They will then receive a

reminder with a 14-day payment term. If payment is not made within this period, the Breath

and Consciousness Academy or The Breathing Room is entitled to charge interest and

reasonable collection fees. No refunds of tuition fees will be given.

5. Study Duration

The study agreement automatically ends upon completion of the training. At that point, the

rights and obligations of both parties expire.

6. Early Termination

Early termination must be submitted in writing via email. Tuition fees are non-refundable but

can be used for other services at "Paradise on Earth," such as individual sessions.

7. Study Materials

Training materials for which tuition has been paid may be kept by the participant but only for

personal study. It is not permitted to sell, give away, or otherwise distribute the materials.

Copyright and intellectual property rights remain with the Breath and Consciousness

Academy.

8. Complaints Procedure

Participants can file a complaint with "Paradise on Earth" in case of serious dissatisfaction

with the training or other issues requiring a structural solution. Every complaint is carefully

reviewed. The complaint must be described as clearly as possible. The handling process takes

a maximum of two weeks, and the decision will be sent via email.

9. Applicable Law and Liability

The study agreement is subject to Dutch law. The liability of the Breath and Consciousness

Academy is limited to direct damage resulting from attributable shortcomings.

10. Privacy (GDPR)

The Breath and Consciousness Academy processes personal data, such as name and contact

details, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

APPENDIX A: General Terms and Conditions These general terms and conditions apply to

all assignments to the Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth.

1. VAT The Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth has a CRKBO

registration. This means that all our training programs and modules are offered VAT-

exempt. In accordance with tax regulations, 21% VAT is charged for 1:1 coaching in

personal development, breath circles, and advisory programs.

2. Payment Terms a) The invoice amount must be received by the Breath and

Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth no later than 14 days after the invoice

date unless otherwise stated in the assignment confirmation or agreed upon in writing

in advance. Failure to pay the invoice on time does not relieve the client/customer of

the obligations undertaken. b) If the client/customer fails to make payment within the

14-day period, the client is legally in default. c) In the event of default, the

client/customer owes statutory interest on the outstanding amount from the due date

of the invoice until full payment is made. Additionally, all reasonable costs for

obtaining payment out of court are borne by the client/customer. These collection

costs amount to at least 15% of the outstanding amount, with a minimum of €125.00.

d) If payment is not made on time, the Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise

on Earth reserves the right to suspend its obligations, including granting access to

training programs or services, until full payment is received. e) In case of non-

payment, the Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth reserves the

right to terminate the agreement and deny the client/customer access to further

services.

3. Cancellation The client/customer always has a fourteen-day reflection period after

registering for a module. If the client/customer registers within fourteen days before a

module starts, we will mutually agree on a resolution. For training programs of the

Breath and Consciousness Academy, a non-refundable fee is charged: €250 for a 3-

day training and €500 for a 5- or 6-day training. a) If a coaching session/breath

session is cancelled or postponed within 24 hours in advance, the full amount will be

invoiced. b) If a training program is cancelled or postponed up to 30 days before the

start date of the first training day, 40% of the total investment is due. Up to 14 days

before the start date of the first training day, 60% of the total investment is due.

Within 14 days before the start date of the first training day, 100% is charged. c)

Cancellations can only be submitted in writing. The day the written cancellation is

received by the Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth is considered

the cancellation date.

4. Ownership All materials for the training programs and other services are the property

of Paradise on Earth (copyright) and may not be reproduced or made available to third

parties without written permission from Paradise on Earth.

5. Confidentiality All information arising from the cooperation between the Breath and

Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth and clients/customers is considered

strictly confidential and treated as such.

6. Training and Coaching a) The Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on

Earth determines the manner in which the assigned task is executed. b) If the client or

customer wishes to involve third parties in the execution of the assignment, they may

do so only with the consent of the Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on

Earth. c) Paradise on Earth may involve third parties in the execution of the

assignment at any time. d) For training programs, the Breath and Consciousness

Academy / Paradise on Earth selects suitable locations in consultation with the client.

7. Liability a) The Breath and Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth is liable for

shortcomings in the execution of the assignment, insofar as these result from the

failure to observe the care, expertise, and professionalism that can be expected when

performing work within the scope of the assignment. b) Liability for damage caused

by shortcomings is limited to the amount of the fee received by the Breath and

Consciousness Academy / Paradise on Earth for work performed within the scope of

that assignment. c) See also the disclaimer.

8. Training Continuation Conditions Force Majeure. If the main trainer is unavailable,

another trainer will be appointed. In the event of significant damage to the training

space, another suitable location will be found as soon as possible. If COVID-19

regulations from the government arise, an appropriate solution will be sought. In such

cases, the client/customer will receive a refund within 4 weeks and/or the training will

be postponed and offered again at a later time. In cases of force majeure, we always

strive to find the best solution for both parties.

APPENDIX B: Training Overview of the Breath and Consciousness Academy

2. The Second Part: Training to Become a Breath Coach: Module 3, 4, 5

3. The Third Part: The Master Training, Becoming a Breath Trainer: Module 6, 7, 8

Core of the Training: Discovering the power of breath and how to use it as a tool for physical

and mental health, personal development, and growth. The goal is to apply it personally and

facilitate others in their breathwork.

For Whom: For anyone interested in the power of breathing and learning how to use it for

themselves and/or others in a professional manner. Whether it concerns personal

development, physical health, peace of mind, or another personal goal. After the basic

training, you will be able to conduct self-sessions with a consciously connected breath.

The basic training, Modules 1 and 2, can be taken separately for personal development.

ANNEX A: General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all assignments to the Adem en Bewustzijn

Academie/Paradijs op Aarde.

1. VAT The Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde has a CRKBO registration.

This means that all our training courses and modules are exempt from VAT. In accordance

with tax regulations, 21% VAT is charged for one-on-one coaching in personal development,

breathwork circles, and advisory programs.

2. Payment Terms

a) The invoice amount must be received by the Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op

Aarde no later than 14 days after the invoice date, unless stated otherwise in the assignment

confirmation or agreed upon in writing in advance. Failure to pay the invoice on time does

not release the client from their obligations.

b) If the client fails to make payment within the 14-day period, they are legally in default.

c) In case of default, the client owes statutory interest on the outstanding amount from the

invoice due date until full payment is received. Additionally, all reasonable costs incurred to

obtain payment outside of court are the responsibility of the client. These collection costs are

at least 15% of the outstanding amount with a minimum of €125.00.

d) If timely payment is not made, the Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde

reserves the right to suspend its obligations, including granting access to training or services,

until full payment is received.

e) In case of non-payment, the Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde reserves the

right to terminate the agreement and deny the client access to further services.

amount will be charged.

b) If the training course is canceled or postponed up to 30 days before the first training day,

40% of the total fee is due. Up to 14 days before the start date: 60% of the total fee is due.

Within 14 days before the start date, 100% is charged.

c) Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The date the written cancellation is received

by the Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde is considered the cancellation date.

4. Ownership All materials used for training and other services are the property of Paradijs

op Aarde (copyright) and may not be copied or shared with third parties without written

permission.

5. Confidentiality All information resulting from the collaboration between the Adem en

Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde and clients is treated as strictly confidential.

6. Training and Coaching

a) The Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde determines how the assignment is

executed.

b) If the client wishes to involve third parties in the execution of the assignment, this may

only be done with the consent of the Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde.

c) Paradijs op Aarde may involve third parties in the execution of the assignment at any time.

d) Suitable locations for training sessions are selected in consultation with the client.

7. Liability

a) The Adem en Bewustzijn Academie/Paradijs op Aarde is liable for shortcomings in the

execution of the assignment only insofar as they result from failing to exercise the due care,

expertise, and professionalism expected in such assignments.

b) Liability for damages caused by shortcomings is limited to the amount of the fee received

for the work performed under that assignment.

8. Training Continuity Conditions Force Majeure: If the main trainer is unavailable,

another trainer will be appointed. If the training venue is severely damaged, a suitable

replacement location will be found as soon as possible. If government regulations regarding

COVID-19 require changes, an appropriate solution will be sought. The client will receive a

refund within four weeks or be offered the training at a later date. We always seek the best

solution for both parties in case of force majeure.

ANNEX B: Training Overview of the Adem en Bewustzijn Academie

Training Objective: To discover the power of breathwork and how to use it for physical and

mental health, personal development, and growth. Participants will learn to apply breathwork

for themselves and guide others.

Target Audience: Anyone interested in the power of breathing, whether for personal

development, physical health, mental peace, or other personal goals. After the basic training,

participants can practice conscious connected breathing independently.

First Part: Basic Training - Conscious Connected Breathwork Retreats

 Module 1: 3-day training, discovering your own breath

 Module 2: 3-day training, expanding and gaining confidence in your breath

Second Part: Breath Coach Training

 Module 3: 6-day training, discovering techniques and interventions

 Module 4: 6-day training, expanding breath techniques, interventions, and online

coaching

 Module 5: 4-day training, deepening techniques and breathwork processes,

concluding with a theoretical and practical exam

Third Part: Master Training - Breath Trainer Certification

 Module 6: 5-day training, guiding breath circles and group workshops

 Module 7: 3-day integration weekend with advanced yoga techniques

 Module 8: 5-day training, working with trauma, voice dialogue, and group facilitation

Certification Requirements for Breath Coach:

 Completion of Module 5

 Supervised practice sessions with a mentor

 Written reports on practice sessions

 Online breathwork exchanges within peer groups

 Supervision sessions via Zoom/Teams

 Completion of first aid training (if required for accreditation)

Certification Requirements for Breath Trainer:

 Mentorship from an experienced trainer

 Supervised breath circles and workshops

 Stages in Modules 1-5

 Reflective essay titled "The Path to Mastery as a Breathworker"

Costs (as of January 2025)

 Basic Training (Modules 1 & 2): €1,260 + approx. €600 for accommodation

 Coach Training (Modules 3, 4 & 5): €3,150 + approx. €1,500 for accommodation

 Trainer Training (Modules 6, 7 & 8): €2,520 + approx. €1,200 for accommodation

 Certification Year (Coach): Approx. €1,750

 Certification Year (Trainer): Approx. €1,000

All costs exclude books and additional materials. Group sizes range from 8 to 16 participants.

Study load from Module 3 onward is approximately 4 hours per week.
